Brand systems built to perform wherever the business goes next.
Simona Pfreundner helps scaling companies turn strategy into a usable brand design system across graphic design, product design, packaging design, web, events, motion, and sales.
The engagement starts by mapping the business problem, audience, existing equity, constraints, and the places where the current system breaks.
02
Architecture
Positioning, hierarchy, narrative, and system logic are resolved before the visual surface is expanded.
03
Design and proof
The direction is tested on the real touchpoints that matter—product, packaging, sales, web, events, or launch materials.
04
Rollout
Reusable templates, documentation, production files, and handoff give the internal team a system it can continue to run.
(Common questions)
Before we start.
01What does a strategic brand designer do?+
I connect business positioning to the visual and verbal system customers experience. Depending on the project, that can include identity, web, product, packaging, campaigns, events, sales materials, and the guidelines that hold everything together.
02What kinds of companies do you work with?+
I usually work with growing fintech and technology companies, startups preparing to launch or reposition, and consumer brands that need packaging or a broader identity system. I work directly with founders, marketing teams, product teams, and leadership.
03Can you work with an existing brand?+
Yes. I often strengthen or extend an existing direction rather than replace it. I start by identifying what is worth keeping, what is inconsistent, and what the team needs next.
04Do you work with remote teams?+
Yes. I’m based in Canada and work remotely with teams across Canada and the United States. I use collaborative workshops, shared working files, documented reviews, and a clear handoff process.
05How does a project start?+
Start with a short description of the business, the problem to solve, the required deliverables, timing, and who will be involved. I’ll use that context to recommend a scope and a way of working.
(What to send)

No polished brief needed. Send the rough context, the pressure point, and what needs to work better.
01
What you are building
The company, product, offer, campaign, or launch you are trying to move forward.
02
Where design is getting in the way
The part that feels unclear, inconsistent, hard to explain, or too slow for the team.
03
What needs to exist
Brand system, website, deck, packaging, product screens, event assets, or a mix of touchpoints.
04
Timing and constraints
Any launch dates, stakeholders, production realities, internal capacity, or files already in place.
